It should come as no surprise that Viagra has been improved upon, or at least that's what the manufacturers of Viagra Super-Active have been telling the public. If you've never heard of this "new generation" of the sildenafil drug, then you probably don't need it, but you may still be curious about what it exactly is.
Identification
Viagra Super-Active is essentially the fourth version of the sildenafil drug known as Viagra. While the formula may be slightly different than the original, it is still considered a phosphodiesterases inhibitor that is taken orally to treat erectile dysfunction. Typically, you would take a drug such as Viagra Super-Active prior to sexual activity as a way to achieve and maintain an erection. As with any of the variations of Viagra, this formula is also considered a safe, reliable and helpful treatment for an erectile dysfunction.
Features
Unlike the other versions of the sildenafil drug, Viagra Super-Active comes in the form of a gelatin pill. The other formulas come in a hard tablet. This soft pill will dissolve almost immediately once in your system, allowing the active ingredient to be absorbed into the blood stream faster than other varieties of Viagra. This means you'll have a better turn-around, so to speak, in between ingestion and intercourse. That being said, it's still recommended that the pill be taken at least an hour prior to sexual activity.
Effects
One of the main differences between Viagra Super-Active and the other "generations" of the drug is that this formula is said to be far more dependable and reliable. It has a greater effect on the messengers in the body that basically initiate the blood vessels to widen in the penis, allowing blood to enter and initiating an erection.
Considerations
While Viagra Super-Active has a better absorption rate and is considered far more reliable, you will still need stimulation of the penis to achieve an erection, much like the other sildenafil drugs. You'll also need to continue to take the prescription prior to sexual activity, as Viagra Super-Active is not a cure for erectile dysfunction. It is only a treatment.
